First time running the Wey Ahead - opted for the full 32k run.  Pre-event information was good and provided everything you needed to know.  Race number and chip time collection was easy with the start line a short walk from the registration area.  As for the race itself - personally I had didn't have a great run at all but the route itself is very picturesque - had to stop a few times to take photos! The trail is a mixture of flat prepared path and natural towpath and cross field.  It can be a uneven and rutted at times but it's trail run so to be expected.  Not much support along the route and at times could not see a soul a long way ahead or behind but that just added to the feeling of appreciating the peacefulness of the Surrey countryside.  Overall a very enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning and will likely do again next year.
