Great well organised event just like last year. Race number was received in the post a couple of weeks before the event.

There is plenty going on the race village with a good number of food options and the uniqueness of a chance to win some British Airways flights in the BA Base camp area. There were hardly any queues at the bag drop as well.
The start pens are well signposted by colour zones and wasn’t overly packed.
The course starts and finishes in Southgate Park, Crawley as well as the town centre area and is pretty much flat other than a slope that goes up for about 200-300m around the 8.5 mile mark. Maybe the organisers could do with perhaps having a water station just after that which I’m sure a few would appreciate.
After leaving the town centre you head into the Gatwick countryside area where you see a plane or two whizz over your head which again is a unique experience.
On the final 100m or so you head up another little slope before ending in the park again.
Another great well run event again by all the team at RunGatwick and a great medal and T-Shirt to top it off. A good family day out!!
One only issue was that some got confused about the actual start line as there seemed to have been two potential start lines as they both had timing type mats and BA logos but it ended being the second one.
