Really lovely event.  Plenty of car parks, all with easy access to the start.  Usual issue of not enough loo's...the queues were massive but I've never been to a race where this hasn't been an issue.

Starting pens clearly marked.  We started approx 10 mins late but that wasn't really a drama.  The route is really nice, bit of town, bit of airport, bit of countryside, few ups and downs then back through the town to the finish.  Bit of an uphill finish and I was saving my sprint finish as another runner had told me we had to run round the park but that wasn't the case - the finish line was literally at the top of the incline just as you turn back into the park...bit gutted I didn't manage a sprint finish but was equally happy to see the finish line!

Nice medal, t-shirt, banana, water and Kind bars...race details mentioned a Buff too but several runners asked the Marshalls who didn't seem to know?!?

Event village is good, food & drink priced well and plenty of choice.  The British Airways tent was packed, we went in a few times to have a go on the grabber machine but each time we were told the queue was a 60 minute wait! We purchased raffle tickets for a seperate draw then gave up waiting....bit gutted about that.

Overall I really enjoyed this event and would do it again.
