← Run Gatwick

My first and not last visit to Run Gatwick.

A well attended race with a mini festival vibe, lots of food and drink trucks for pre and post run.

The toilet queue was a bit long and they would have massively reduced this by signing and having more men’s urinals.

Getting out of the pens to the start was a bit slow and the start line needed to be clearly marked as I started my watch too early.

There wa a great range of pacers on hand and they keep you in line if you make yourself know and what time you are looking for.

The hill at 8.5 miles got me and I dropped back slightly from the pacers but it is not that bad and not taken at full steam I’m sure you will make it no problems.

A well supported course where possible and the Marshalls offered great encouragement.

The small incline st the end is not too bad and the crowd drag you up there with cheers.

Once across the line you are greated with water, banana, protein bars and the most important thing your medal and finishes T-shirt.

If you are going with the family the. Look out for the 5K and family race
