I did the 16 mile route and have to say the run itself was very enjoyable. Couple of places that got congested with having both the 8 and 16 mile races at the same time (over the bridge the first time) but on the whole a good route.
I did have a few issues/points though; 1 - the baggage drop was not secure anyone could have walked off with bags, 2- no changing facilities/places to wait out of the cold, 3 - few toilets, 4 - no t-shirt (I know not everyone wants one but it would have been nice to have the chance to maybe pay for one), 5 - same medal for doing the 8 or 16 miles. (Personally I would have liked to be able to show that I did 16 miles!!). 6 - Very early start considering the clocks changed that day
