← Stafford Half Marathon
The previous year proved just how little the organisers rhink of the athletes taking part. They rightly cancelled last years race but failed to tefund anyone their money however eventially backed down slightly and agreed roll althetes registration to this year. Clearly this event is all about money from thise rather than wanting to put on an enjoyable event for all. The start was changed for this years event and not for the best. The twisting and turning of the coral was just silly and ruined alot of peoples times including my own as i was stuck walking through the railed off area for 2 mins after the gun. The support was as great as ever and the course in the main as normal which is a great challenging route for all. A good quality t shirt and bice bespoke medal do give this event a nice touch.
