2nd time at The Wild Mud Run 10k and again loved it. Went for an early wave this time and found it much more enjoyable. Going early meant not having to queue for obstacles even on lap 2. Loads of people in the later waves so I could see it getting busy out there. No real technical obstacles, more of a fast paced OCR. The mud gets thicker with every wave that goes through, so if your in the final wave I imagine it can get a bit slower and tougher out there. Most of the marshals were friendly and helpful and free phots is always a good thing. In all a great event especially if you are new to the sport or more of a runner looking for something a bit different.
