I did this race with a group of 14 friends yesterday morning. It was well organised, easy to find and other than the carpark being too far from the registration (because I forgot my bag!) the organisers couldn't have done a lot more in terms of organising.
It was a mud/OCR based on a 5km loop so you could do 5km or go around again making it the full 10km, which we need.
I realise it is called a mud run but wading through the mud for over 1km in a row I felt to be a little too easy for the organisers and in my opinion the course would have benefitted from a little less mud and a few more obstacles, especially for those going round twice.
That being said, the hills, streams, rivers were a great setting for getting very wet and muddy and having a lot of fun with friends. The water was very cold but well marshalled by volunteers and I would definately recommend this to a novice mud runner or thrill seeker, just the stretch of mud going round twice was a little boting perhaps the second time round...but thats just my opinion.
Definately one to do with a group of friends and was a reasonable area for friends and family to perhaps see you doing approximately 20% of thr course for support.
