Got entry into this race via my charity so for me it was a cheap race. :) Logistically it was a early start for me as I live 1 hour away but luckily its a well oiled machine and bag drop was easy if a little out of the way after you finish. The race was good, couldnt see anyone checking pens etc so a free for all again, but i wasn't going for a time so just happy to plod around. The race was fab, the sun was shining, the crowds were amazing and it was the most enjoyable half I have ever done. Only one hill which is a gradual incline. The medal is the bomb! The crowds on the finish line were buzzing like london, everyone shouting at you and handing you haribo . love love love. After the race was a let down, no real food on offer apart from a natural bar, like eating rabbit food after a race. :( and more water and lucozade just what you want. Highly recommend this race, do it do it.
