Receieved a discount code through Racecheck so race worked out very cheap and a good bargain. Parking was limited nearby but managed to oatk car no more than 8mins walk away having checked out the road closures map a day or so before and got away nice and easy after Giving the weather the event was pretty well supported with people coming out of their houses along the country roads. The leisure centre used for baggage storage was pretty busy due to the weather with many opting to remain inside which then caused a in/out queing system to just get in for late arrivals which must have been frustrating for some. The course is pretty much flat throughout with just a couple of small inclines. The course did get a little congested in parts due to numbers with some having to use paths but other than that it was a fast enough course with PB potential for sure. The medal and goody bag were decent enough but no Finishers T-Shirt which didnt really bother me but may disappoint others? Thanks again to Racecheck for the discount code as it ended up working out to be a real value for money event.
