This was my 3rd time running the Cambridge Half (2016, 2017 and 2019). It's always a good start to the season. The route takes in some nice parts of the City, and although you do cover some parts twice it doesn't feel repetitive. I started in the red pen so didn't experience any bunching or walking. I do feel that they could do with more Pacers, both in terms of times and those running those times, as I couldn't find the pacer in the pen so had to run my own race (I ran faster in the end, so not all bad!). I felt the Goodie bag was lacking a T-Shirt, but I don't think they have given them away in the past either. I didn't bother with the Park and Ride this year, and parked in the Queen Anne Terrace which was great, in an out of Cambridge with no issue. Bag collection wasn't an issue this year. Free photos are a bonus, although it does require a Facebook account which is a pain, so I had to create a fake profile for that, but the photos are pretty good. I've already pre-registered for 2020.
