← Farnborough Half Marathon
This is the third time I've run the Farnborough half. It's a great road closed route and even though it's always been either cold, snowing or both, the support en-route is fantastic. Pre race info from 2:09 events is superb. I never had any doubts on race day. Aid stations are plentiful, and we'll stocked with water and gels if you need them. I'd forgotten about "the goody bag". I don't usually take them, but in my tired state I took one and am glad I did. It included gels, a water bottle, protein shake mix, and some leaflets. One slightly negative comment is that all the water stations used single use plastic bottles. This needs looking at for future races Finally, hats off to the marshalls. They must have been freezing, but they were so enthusiastic. Thank you to all involved.
