← Fitstuff G3 Series

This was the second of the G3 events and having done the 10k version 2 weeks previously, I thought I knew what to expect. However, the route planners are very clever and deliver a completely different course every rime. This 15km route started and finished at the same place as the first 10k route, but that's where the similarity ended. The Surrey hills are stunning, and even though it was a bit murky, you still got some good views from St.Marthas. Part of the section through the chantries felt like it was on animal paths and if I'd tried to find them again, I would have been sorely disappointed. The AAT team did a stirling job of placing big arrows all around the course and the 10k/15k split point was well marked. The marshalls also did a great job as always and got people across roads safely. Looking forward to the final G3 on 2nd Feb.
