Really great local event I've attended several times over the years. Proper trail running on a tough well thought out course taking in some of the most beautiful And challenging trails the area has to offer. Well organised and affordable. Highly recommend.

A fantastic and inclusive event. Well organised from start to finish. Great medals and the brownies at the end made all the climbs worth it! Three challenging, different courses but couldn't help but smile. Will definitely be taking part in the G3 series again!

Signed up for the series in a moment of madness and began to regret my choice when the staff in Fitstuff gave me ‘that look’ and said ‘you know the courses are really challenging….’ This was my first year running the G3 events, although I know the trails well. They were right. It was tough. But I loved it. All 3 events were well organised, well signposted and felt like they were made by runners for runners. Thankyou!

No fuss - no frills - trail running at its best. Hilly, muddy, rutty, rooty, sandy, soggy, rocky - and did I mention hilly?? Always challenging but always so much fun. Thoroughly recommend.

This is always a cracking event. If you're looking for a big finish area village, a massage and things to buy, then you've entered the wrong race. This is a proper trail race. No frills, great organisation, friendly marshalls anbd perfect trail running loication.
