← Farnborough Half Marathon
Registration at the start was simple, although i do prefer it when my race pack is posted to me as its one less thing to worry about on race day. Parking was easy and the race start well signposted. Plenty of portaloos and we could wait in the hotel nearby to keep warm/have a coffee etc. Plenty of happy and helpful marshalls and good crowds at the start/finish points. The course is fairly flat and the last 4 miles are just a reverse of the first 4 miles so the scenery did get a little boring. After a very cold start the sun came out and it was almost perfect running conditions. The finishing medal is good, the finishing pack had lots of different goodies (including a winter half buff) which was a lovely touch. Used this half as part of my london training and it was just the ticket.
