I decided to do this race as I had completed the Wilmslow 10k in November 2017 which was brilliantly organised!! This race was just as well organised. Lots of pre-race information, race packs sent out in plenty of time, excellent marshaling to the parking etc. The weather was absolutely scorching so I decided to just finish without the need for a lift in an ambulance! They had installed an extra water station because of the hot weather and one of marshaling points had hoses/sprinklers which was exceptionally helpful in the heat! There were quite a few bands/singers on the route which was great - and because it is an out and back route we passed them twice, so there wasn't too much of a lull in entertainment. At the finish there was a fantastic medal and a great technical t-shirt. In summary - This race is definitely worth the money. Great organisation. Quite a boring route But cheered up by the entertainment.
