A mostly flat course down the Bypass, not much to see but they put on live music acts along the course which really help to push you along the route. The support was only really near the start/finish area, I really like the design of the Medal and you get a t shirt a long with the usual goodies.

What can We say, except that Run north west, certainly know how to put on a race.....

from the organisation, volunteers, marshals and advice all were first class. They are also thinking about the environment too, with race number collection and bring your own water station. Great value race, and a quality t-shirt and amazing bespoke medal. What’s more with 2 shops in the northwest you can now get all year round advice for anything running related, what’s not to love!! Thank you for a great time, We’ll be back......

Another fantastic event from Run North West, online entry is quick and easy.

Plenty of online updates, race number was collected from their store in Hyde with no delay.

The race itself is along a bypass so not much countryside to see but there were live bands along the way and fantastic support from the marshalls - so encouraging 😁

The course is a bit hilly but for every up there is a down, this year the ups didn't feel as difficult as they did last year so that was a bonus 👍

Water station at around the 5KM mark, water bottles rather than cups - for me I prefer water bottles as I usually end up throwing most of the water all over me 🤦

Support towards the finish was superb and once over the line you received your medal, t shirt and flap jack. Water was available but I had taken my own - you were able to leave your own filled bottle on a table and this was tagged to say it belonged to you - a great idea for reducing plastic.

Fantastic race, you can't fault the organisation as everything is spot on..... would I do this race again.....of course ..... already taken advantage of the early bird offer 😁😁😁
