← Royal Parks Half Marathon
My first RPHM- getting to the event is a bit of a nightmare- Hyde park being the local Tube station clearly isn't big enough for runners and spectators so getting there and leaving wasn't easy. It absolutely poured down on the day which wasn't great for running as the roads had huge puddles which i was constantly avoiding, the running lanes in the park are also very narrow and windy. Not great for a PB. I also thought their were to many runners and people clearly in the wrong starter segments and i spent the majority of the race trying to overtake which was a tad annoying- that aside its a nice event but i wont be rushing back to do it any time soon.
