← Oxford Half Marathon
A fast and flat half that produced myself with a PB. We did the park and ride which was easy and well worth doing to save hassle of parking in the city centre. The event village was massive and had plenty of toilets, food vendors etc. They offered a warm up and cool down service live on stage too which was good. The weather was perfect for running and the crowds were out in force. The course was clearly signposted and marshalling was very good. It was a bit of a mad rush at the start and a free for all for people rushing to get into their pens but I think most made it in time. One disappointing factor was that no medals were given at the end of the race due to “logistical reasons” but this arrived in the post about 3 weeks later.
