This is a scenic race on the grounds of Thoresby Hall - which is perfect on a sunny day. It's organised by a runner who knows what they're doing, what runners want, and listens to any comments people might have so they're always improving. This even includes them having made changes in the past to help with the environment. There's a good atmosphere in the race village at the start and finish, and the marshalls you encounter on the route are very cheery. This year the medal was quite novel, with removable pin badges.
