I have taken part on a number of occasions, both Longhorn and Leaf Kick 10K Nordic Walking, and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the challenge (for me, that is!!). The event is well organised with clear instructions, both beforehand and during the event itself. It is such a shame that this was the last Leaf Kick and there is only one more Longhorn to look forward to. Let's hope that another organisation is willing to take on the role of organising such a successful pair of events.

As a newbie loved this as my first trail Canicross 5k and am motivated to do it again and faster! Really well run, suitable for everyone and felt very welcoming, friendly and exclusive including for my family support team! Loved the unique and natural medals and only bottleneck at the bridge but had to slow down due to mesh surface for the dogs safety anyway, I was not concerned with speed! Brilliant event!

Absolutely loved the event. The marshalls were brilliant, great aid stations and excellent communication from Amanda, the RD. I loved the wooden medal. Me, my friend and my dog had a great time. So sorry there will only be one more of these.

Trail/cross country style run with a start and finish on the tarmac. Great event well signposted with plenty of marshals. Stunning views - a great first trail run to do. Plenty of food/drink stalls for before and after finishing. Amazing seeing the canine cross!
