I signed up for this event, as I heard good reviews from friends about it. For the expensive entry fee (for a 10k), I expected far more than received - The course was woefully short (about 0.6 miles), very few marshals (although sign posting was clear), the water station was too far into the course (over four miles), and no finish line funnel which caused many to take different lines to the finish. The medal was also not good - Very poor design imo, and the same for all distances - not even separate ribbons. Despite the extensive food choice advertised, only burgers were available. Sadly it seems the event was ran with the lowest costs possible to maximise profits, but unfortunately this is often the experience when races are ran by event companies, and not running clubs. One to avoid in future, as with all events ran by AAT Events.
