It was a whole weekend of running with the Night 5K on Fri, parkrun Saturday, the Half & the Mile on the Sunday. There’s 5 medals up for grabs over the weekend. Focusing on the 5K we all met at the sports hall where you collect the bib & drop your bag, there was enough toilets & the race starts on the running track. It’s dark when you start you’ll need a head torch for this race, but they’ve got all coloured lights & smoke machine around the start playing music it was a really unique start/finish line (see video) On you get out the track into a park & then fields it’s pitch dark you need a head torch. This is why I marked the view lower because it’s not really a views type of course it’s more about the party start & finish. At the finish it’s really cool crossing the disco lights & smoke machine & the medal was pretty awesome. If you’re going up to Warrington for the EHM you might as well make a weekend of it & do this race.
