I ran this race on a free place as a video creator to make a race video which is available here. https://youtu.be/mzN749vZKf8 This is a no frills race but it’s a really bargain price at £12-£15 It’s 10 miles not 10K, starts at a school with the sports hall for baggage (dry) & toilets. The race briefing over megaphone wasn’t very loud, most people were talking over it, maybe some better speakers so all can hear. It’s 10 miles in quiet rural country lanes with good signage, easy to follow, good aid stations for drinks & good marshals. There’s no road closures but I probably saw 10 cars if that & Marshall’s were on the crossings of more major roads managing traffic. No closed roads = cheaper entry. There’s no medal = cheaper entry There is a decent technical finishers t shirt. This is why I said it’s no frills it’s a race, that’s dirt cheap in comparison to others but you don’t get all the bells & whistles of a big city event. It’s an undulating route so train for hills.
