Our family has taken part in this event for at least 7 years. It is getting bigger and more poorly organised each year. We arrived an hour and 40mins before our race start and still barely made the briefing. Everyone in transition was stressed by the poor organisation, the queuing, paying for insurance on the day, queuing again for baggage drop - having to write out details on the baggage label: then no supervision for the bag pick up. The event is understaffed. Plus it took 5 days to get my results which does take away the fun. It is a family tradition, and a beautiful course. It has a great atmosphere because of the very wide ability range taking part. Just use the high entrance fee to pay for a bit more help. Job done.
