Based in one of the many Waterparks it is easy to find, plenty of parking & on site camping. Ideal for Families. 

Email communications from Graeme Race Director was excellent with a comical twist.. although a few too many about wetsuit option! 

Registrstion was simple. Buying your parking ticket day before is a good tip, avoids a lot of queuing. Fantastic briefing and gave you a chance to look at Transition & Swim Start which is well worth attending. 

Wave starts on Race Day very organised at 10 minute intervals. 

The bike route was technical, lots of sharp turns into little villages, my only gripe was the state of some if the roads, so many Potholes! 

I know the council did a wonderful job at resurfacing a mile stretch& unfortunate to the organisers it was chip gravel,  Graeme and his team did an outstanding job trying to sweep away parts of it, and communications about this with competitors was excellent. 

However I would recommend they highlight with spray paint the major potholes like they do for sportives just to give us a little warning. 

Run route was laps around the lake, plenty of water & feed stations & a lovely gentleman with his water hose to keep us cool in the heat ThankYOU! 

Plenty of toilets, lots of spectators to cheer you on around run route, 

A free Massage Tent! 

A huge medal, goodie bag & T shirt. 

Big up to the 113 Events an exceptional Triathlon & well worth the money.
