the greatest mass participation event in the world.
it definitely lived up to its billing. Amazing course and the support was out of this world. Couldn't fault any part of this event from the ballot to the finish line.
the race itself is tougher than you expect. No training can prepare you for the sheer amount of people. Setting a decent rhythm is near on impossible, you are constantly watching your step for other runners or for discarded water bottles.
it took me a day or two to really appreciate the race in its entirety.
