← TCS London Marathon

So I know its really cliché but if I was ever going to run a marathon, it HAD to be London! After months or training the week arrived and I headed up to the Expo. The expo is where you have to pick up your number before hand, but be warned, if you don’t arrive by 5pm the day before the race, you cant take part

I looked around the many different stalls and met up with CWCUK who were the charity I was running for, they were amazing (and their support was what carried me around the course!)

I was at the red start and the buzz from the people taking part the minute I got on the tube to get to Greenwich, I was really nervous but having that many people all in the same boat really helped!

The start areas were very well managed with plenty of toilets and places to sit and wait, it was like a mini festival!

So the actual race went by in a sort of blur.... I have amazing memories of the route, the cutty Sark, tower bridge, the endless isle of dogs section, but nothing prepared me for the buzz of running down the mall and completing the race in 5 hours 12 second... here lies my problem

I told myself I wanted to complete in 4 hours SOMETHING (anything under 5) those 12 seconds how haunt me SO, I’m once again running for Children with Cancer in 2019! Time to get rid of those 12 seconds!
