This has become one of my fave races of the year, unfortunately not the organisers fault this was changed from March due to the Beast from the East and put back until June, and what a scorcher it turned out to be. 

Everything is always well organised from bag drop to car park to all the communications from the event on what to do during the day. We had a pre race meet up with some fellow visor club members and it's always great to put faces to photos. 

The race is all countryside and the task this year was to find the shade while running, the pb went out of the window as it was just so hot and my goal was just too finish in under 2 hours which I did.

The marshals are always great and offer lots of support and the crowds this year offered great support, with homeowners using hosepipes to spray runners greatly which was appreciated around the course. 

So again next year but hopefully in March!
