← MK Marathon Weekend
I had a great time runnning the full marathon, despite the heat! Having never really been to MK before, I was surprised by just how nice the route was - it felt like I was out in the countryside for most of it, just with the luxury of paved paths. There was plenty of shade, and the locals were out with their hoses to cool the runners down which was a real bonus.
My only complaint would be that the parking at the National Bowl was waaaay further to walk than the website suggested. It was closer to 40 minutes than 20, which meant rushing a bit at the start to get there on time. Other than that it was great!
