This was the 4th year in a row that I have done this race and although it was the hottest ever, the marshals, supporters and organisers were excellent. The support on the course definitely kept me going till the end! The course is much better in the second half but I enjoy the race so dont mind too much! The finish is brilliant and the medal and t shirt is always fantastic. Start was efficient and well organised.

Couple of tweaks needed: Not sure the baggage collection was any better this year than last year as there was a lack of changing space and it was very congested before the start. The steps at the finish were unpleasant as we went to fetch our bags. There was a wait at the end for water, which on a hot day was slightly uncomfortable.

I will be back next year. I love this race and want to thank everyone who is involved. Might try the marathon next year!
