← MK Marathon Weekend
This was my second MK Half marathon (first in 2017). The first 1/4 of the course is forgetable and in my opinion awful. Just a run on the main street, around roundabouts (hey, its MK right?) and through the city centre. Even though the public's support is great, its still a city run. However, everything change from around the 7th km onwards!
The course took us through the parks and small estates. Spectators were great, showing their support and occationally helping with water sprays and gummy sweets :)
The finishing is in the MK stadium, which on its own is a reason to participate. And then the blink! Whoever designs these medals deserves a medal! :D
Only other critisism is long cue and the steps you made us climb just after the finishing line... Not cool organisers...
