This was my third time at MK Marathon.

Pre-race registration was spot on.

Race numbers were posted out.

There was a good atmosphere at race HQ.

Baggage deposit/collection was smooth.

Race weekend had 5k race on the Sunday and full marathon, half marathon, relay & kid's race options on monday.

This catered for all ages and abillities so was perfect for families.

I entered the full marathon.

Marshals were awesome. Local support for the most part, was very good.

Course had a couple of out and backs in town centre before heading into the countryside. It then ended inside Stadium, with a lap of the pitch.

Route was pretty flat and on decent paths.

Water stations were regular and contained water, gels and enegy drinks.

Finshers were rewarded with a super medal, finishers shirt, and goodie bag. 

In summary-

Milton Keynes marathon weekend is a fun, friendly, well organised event. 

Crowd support isn't to the level of some big city races but it's decent enough.
