← MK Marathon Weekend
Just back from running the MK Marathon (my second year).
A great event, well organised and an interesting relatively flat route (watch out for those canal and road bridge ascents). Great marshall support, never felt lost or unsafe, the only problem today was the 27 degree full sun but that's not the organisers fault.
The upside ofthe nice weather was loads of support throughout the whole course, residents with their much appreciated hoses spraying runners, and people cheering us on, it's really a very well supported race as it weaves around the new town.
Stadium finish is nice, but making us all climb the steps out of the stadium this year was a bit brutal!
