← TCS London Marathon

There are a lot of people who don’t like big city marathons because they think they’re pricey and crowded, but the flip side of that coin is that you get great support from spectators and fellow runners and you get to run past some iconic sights.

There are always improvements to be made, and quite a few back-of-the-pack runners I’ve spoken to didn’t get enough water, gels, or the right sized tshirts, but the water situation was at least partly on the record temperatures and mid-pack runners taking more than their fair share. Overall, I was impressed by the accommodations made for the heat as well as the crowd control and the unique separate startlines.
