← TTP Cambridge Half Marathon

Much of the UK was covered in snow. I made the 300 mile round trip to Cambridge from my home in Leeds with the race still in some doubt. As it happens conditions were very good despite there being further snow earlier that morning.

Cambrige is a beautiful & historic city. There was plenty to admire on the course. No hills of any significance, it’s a couple of mild bumps. Crowd support was excellent as were the Marshalls.

Would I do this race again? Certainly!

Highs: Interesting course around a historic city, fast & flat

Lows: Expensive race, no finishers shirt was a disappointment.

Bottom line: Great race, definite PB potential but very expensive.
