← Leeds & Liverpool Canal Canter

Well organised as we come to expect with IGUN. Free parking close to registration and a short walk to the start. Registration was a bit congested that day - never been like that before - rush of people all arrived at same time. Race started a few minutes late to allow everyone to get to the start line. Race briefing was repeated as some (me included) were too far back to hear it all - but we got all the essentials in the repeat.
Its a nice out and back along the Leeds Liverpool canal. The weather was super. Aid stations are well stocked as always. It’s lovely running next to water, very calming.
Marshals were good and helpful.
Good bag was good and plenty of cakes at the end, even for those finishing the longer distances.
The results took a couple of days to arrive - it’s never been like that before (and IGUN made sure the next race published results same day - nothing better than organisers who can respond effectively when there is a hiccup). Photos were good and available the following day.
Good race - recommended.
