Aside from the  strange mixed start resulting in lots of swerving and kerb jumping to get around people this was an almost perfect race. I’m not sure if it was the atmosphere or the amount of lucozade I had but I just didn’t stop smiling the whole way around. The support from volunteers, the public and charities was just fantastic. The views were amazing and I loved learning little facts about London.

Running the London Marathon last year was special but I think the uniqueness of this race stole my heart a little so much so I have already pre-registered for 2019. 

Aside from one cheeky hill it was definitely a race to get a personal best. If you do sign up to run it I would say enjoy everything that is on offer around you. We got some fantastic pictures mid-route of the landmarks and people dressed up to entertain.
