I did the summer one last year, but first time on the Winter.
This is an absolute must do race for me, brilliant venue and facilities, superb organisation and what a toughie ! That Sting in the Tail is, well...enough said.
This year, it started snowing about half way round, and continued until the end, leaving 2-3 inches on the ground even at the start altitude.
Finishing up and being given a thermal mug for hot soup is outstanding - I love my bling, but this was the best ever ! Awesome idea.
There are also shower facilities at the centre, so perfect to warm and clean up afterwards before heading off to wherever you go.
