Great event on so many levels. Challenging course, great setting, ample parking, track start and finish, cracking finisher's bag and bling.
The route was lovely and scenic, undulating yes, big hill yes but well marshalled and a big shout to whoever had been out early and gritted some of the frostier parts of the course.
The registration process was quick and easy, held indoors in a nice warm hall with a big cake sale, there were plenty of toilets and everyone was given a great welcome.
Having the start and finish on the track in Witton Park also meant there was a good atmosphere and plenty of support, loads of photographers too, at the last count nearly 3,000 photos have been shared via the race's Facebook page.
I can't recommend this event enough, well done to all involved.
