This was the 3rd year I have ran this race and the best yet! Arrived early at car park to get free buses to the start-no problem. Once at the school you can pick up goodie bag and t-shirt/vest before the race which I wanted to do as wanted to run in my Mad Dog vest to join in the atmosphere. 

Problems with registration meant my starting pen was right at the back so no rush to start and took my time and I was actually the last person to cross the start line. So over 2600 runners in front of me-let’s see how many I could pass. Final position was 291 so loved it!!

Course conditions were perfect as nice flat course and no wind really. Music every mile keep you entertained along the way with ‘Pelvis Presley’ the standout every year

Sprint finish down the home straight and medal plus fruit and water waiting for you, great day all round and a race I will run again in the future
