The first thing to note is that this is a very fast course. If you are PB hunting then this is a place you can do it. The finish line is not near the start line and so you gain a slight negative elevation.

The course is two loops of the same section, with an out and back section to make up the distance.

There is small hill which you hit twice but as long you don't burn yourself out, you'll be fine. The race also contains pacers which are very useful if you are targetting a specific pace. I'm not sure how consistent the pacers were but they couldn't have been far off, judging by my finishing time.

The parking logistics were brilliant, it was very easy to park and didn't have any problem finding a space. The parking is also free which is an added benefit.

There isn't a goody bag at the end and you only get a bottle of water and a medal. Based on the entry fee, this isn't really a problem. I think something to eat at the end would have been nice though.

One area that could be improved is the finish area, as it is located in the middle of the looped course, so there were a lot of runners that had finished and were blocked the route for the slower runners. It couldn't have been nice for the runners to try and make their way through the crowd.

Overall this isn't a bad race to enter and I would consider entering it again next (this) year. This race was meant to happen in December but got delayed until January due to weather. A nice PB to start the year though.
