← Royal Parks Half Marathon

i always love running Royal Parks. The problem with this event is it has grown so large it is now difficult to get in. I write this review on its 10th anniversary having ran this event 6 times, 5 of which I have paced 1:40. My personal account is here;

The event village is fantastic, it’s large and everything you need. There are plenty of toilets (but don’t queue at the first lot there are more at the other end).

registration is done via post which provides ease, and it’s easy to get to your start zone.

Now this is a huge half in London, so it’s busy. A lovely route that takes you through London, past 4 royal parks. I’ve not come score a more scenic large half. The water is in cups which is a plus, and the support is great. If you get a place here then do it.

The only criticism I always have is the way in which they do their goody bag creates a huge queue. It’s a great goody bag, but the queue is unnecessary. If you are reading this organisers, please prepackage the goody bags and give them outbas we finish, don’t create the unnecessary queue.

Ive been back 6 times, that tells you I like this event.
