Easy to register and race pack arrived in good time.

We arrived in good time and were able to hand over baggage easily.

We then moved to the start line. It was organised in predicted finish time, although it was hard to hear the race announcer (due to people chatting near me)

The race started promptly. Although it was initially quite crowded it did thin out after the first km.

Support was mainly families supporting the runners along the route and was quite spread out.

The marshalls were excellent and made sure that the switchbacks were smooth.

The route was flat- 3.5k out then turn back, then 1.5k past the finish before turning to return.

I enjoyed the route a lot, the last 1.5k gives you a real chance to go for a good time.

I did not see any water on the route but equally I was not looking for any.

Goody bag and medal were fine for the price. Not the most bling medal, but it was all about the PB.
