← Cardiff Half Marathon
This year was the 3rd year in a row for me at the Cardiff Half. The first two years were fundraisers, but this year was a no watch, casual effort and I strolled in after injury and sickness in a respectable 2:17. There is just something about this race. The crowds throughout are incredible, and pretty much 3 deep all the way around (apart from the bay area), the local choirs, nursing homes, bands, and kids with their jelly babies come out in force.
The support at mile 12 is like no other half I have experienced and the home straight is full of crowds cheering at full pelt. Everytime I cross the finish line here its a bit emotional and I wouldn't have it any other way.
