I'm biased again on this one because it was my first #visorclub race, but it really was a brilliant!
It was really easy to get to, only about 5 minutes walk from the tube station. The race village is in a lovely park and there was lots of food and drinks available. Loads of toilets and easy bag drop.
The course itself is hillier than I expected, but its lovely. There is loads of local support on the course - it feels a bit like the London Marathon in places - and the water stations were great. There were Xempo pacers and although I didn't manage to keep up with them, the support, advice and motivation they were giving people around them was brilliant.
The medal at the end was lovely, and I got a bag of Digestive Bites which went down well!
The whole race really was fantastic, but two things really stood out for me - the course is exceptionally well sign posted which I found really helpful; but most of all the Marshalls and Voluteers were the best ever.
