Not a lot to dislike about this race , beautiful setting in the new forest , wonderful race village with lots of entertainment and excellent registration.
I myself chose the full marathon. The race it self is a multi terrain course through the new forest on what is best described as an undulating route.
Although not masses of support , on sections where locals were there they were very enthusiastic and noisy also providing jelly beans etc . One lovely lady set up an unofficial feed/water station assisted by her young children !
As we had rain I found the ground underfoot tough going however it didn't take the enjoyment of the race away .. I mean , when do you get dodge wild horse on a marathon !
