At least the swim is flat. :)
A tough but rewarding course.
Set in Castle howard grounds and the roads just outside
As usual a great race description and intro by the RD little bit of jokes and history but clearly explaining the lay of the land and what to look out for when out on route.
Swim route = Wet.
Bike is the toughest section in my book, 2 laps the ends of which is endless climbs back to the start. run not quite as tough as the Hever event they also do, but a great route.
Bling a little under cooked, but great shirt and bag made up for this. ( this only for the long distance tri )
All in all loved it, and slept well that night.
Got my place for free but I do know the cost paid by most. maybe a little steep for the Ave joe. but that is an issue with the sport itself.
