← Blackpool Illuminations 5k & 10K
What a fantastic event! I've heard lots of good things about the FCR events so was pleased they lived up to their billing. The event was well organised and marshalled, excellent support and with the Illuminations being turned on especially for us it is a special and unique race. The course is pretty much flat, there's plenty of space for everyone despite a field of over 1500 and it has PB potential written all over it. The medal is ace too. My family came to watch me run and they loved it, great atmosphere. I can highly recommend it and will be doing more FCR events in the future.
