I do love a run through event. This was my first chase the sun event and also my first 5k race.
The weather was awful. It rained throughout. I love the rain but not so good for the organisers and spectators.
As always the organisation was great. You could change in the local cafe and there was a bag drop.
Nice warm up and well organised start- I started near the front based on my predicted time.
it was a multi lap route with some undulations.
At the end the medal and flapjack made it worthwhile.
